Strength and Conditioning Clinic

We have been talking about it for the last few months and now we are ready to put it out there. This will be one power packed Saturday of awe aspiring strength and conditioning methods, right here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Our goal is to help coaches, athletes, parents, and trainers learn the exact blueprints for training athletes and how to get them strong, fast, agile, and injury free, without fail 100% of the time. We want to provide you the opportunity to learn proper principles of training for football from some of the most respected names in the strength and conditioning field.


Clinic Speakers

Ken Leistner is an American strength training writer, personal trainer, chiropractor and strength consultant for the National Football League. He is often known as "Dr. Ken". In 1992, Leistner founded the Iron Island Gym in Long Island and has been a regular columnist for Milo since its inception in April 1993. He was a monthly columnist for Powerlifting USA from February 1979 through November 2000, and was a long-time columnist for Hardgainer. He has written articles for a number of other strength training magazines. He started his own training newsletter, The Steel Tip, in 1985, and published 36 issues. Leistner also contributed a chapter to the book Maximize Your Training. He is married to the former Kathy Tuite, a photographer and world-class powerlifter in the early 1980s.

Mark Asanovich oversees the Jaguars strength and conditioning program. In 2002, Asanovich was the assistant strength and conditioning coach of the Baltimore Ravens. He was the head strength and conditioning coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1996 through 2001, working under former coach Tony Dungy. Asanovich spent the 1995 season as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota Vikings. From 1987 to ’95, he was the strength and conditioning coach at Anoka High School (Minneapolis, Minn). In 1984, he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Ohio State, staying there two years. In 1986 he coached at The Citadel.

Aaron Hillmann oversees strength and conditioning for the Bowling Green Falcons' 18-sport athletic program. Prior to Bowling Green, Hillmann had been the assistant coordinator of strength and conditioning at Notre Dame from 1998 to 2001. Hillmann went to Notre Dame after serving as the football strength and conditioning coach at Connecticut from 1996-1998. He also has served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Cincinnati (1995-96) and Ball State (1992-96). Hillmann also has spent time as a strength and conditioning specialist for the Pittsburgh Steelers (summer, 1994), assisting in the supervision of their preseason strength and conditioning program.

Ted Lambrinides of the Athletic Performance Center has developed the Athletic Strength and Power Program through 26 years of coaching experience in the field. He served as the Assistant Strength Coach at The Ohio State University where he trained numerous Buckeye All-Americans in a variety of sports. Presently he serves as a consultant to several NFL teams including the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the 2005 World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. he also consults for numerous major collegiate athletic programs. ted is also a member of the NCAA speakers bureau where he is nationally known and leading expert on ergogenic aids, steroids and creatine use.

Steve Specht has been the head coach of St. Xavier’s football program since 2003. He has compiled a 51-3 record, and two undefeated state tiles in 2005 and 2007. Specht’s coaching resume includes stints as the Bombers’ secondary coach (1993, 1996-1997), special team coordinator (1997) and defensive coordinator (1998-2002). Coach Specht’s connection with the Bombers links back to the early 1980s when he attended St. Xavier as a student. Specht played defensive back, lettered in varsity football for three seasons and served as a team captain his senior year.

Carlo Alvarez is in his fourth season as the strength and conditioning coordinator at St. Xavier and oversees the football program. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, University of Cincinnati as a student assistant and in 1998, ventured to South Bend, Indiana to the University of Notre Dame. In 2000, he become the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Cleveland Indians and In 2002, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds.

Finally, The BIG Announcement

Well it's finally here. We have been talking about it for the last few months and now we are making the big announcement. This will be one power packed Saturday of awe aspiring strength and conditioning methods, right here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Our goal is to help coaches, athletes, parents, trainers, and therapist learn the exact blueprints for training athletes and how to get them strong, fast, agile, and injury free, without fail 100% of the time. The bottom line is that athletes and coaches want results in record time. And based on the amount of emails I get on a weekly basis, I'm assuming that a lot of coaches and athletes aren't seeing these results happening.

This is the reason why we will host the 1st Annual St. Xavier Strength and Conditioning Clinic on May 17th. You will be impressed with the speakers, but I'm keeping those names in my back pocket for the next few days. But I can promise you, that we have some of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the country coming to speak.
